Landus Cooperative board chair Tim Kolder announced Sept. 2 the appointment of Eric Heismeyer as the cooperative’s next CEO. The appointment is effective Sept. 3.
Heismeyer has more than two decades of leadership experience in agriculture, having served in key roles with global agribusinesses including Bunge and ADM. A Landus announcement to members states that Heismeyer “is recognized for building strong teams, guiding businesses with financial discipline, and delivering growth while staying true to the farmers they serve.”
Heismeyer and the Landus leadership team will focus on its 2026 operating plan, which is centered on serving farmer-owners to get the most out of every acre; enabling employees to deliver their best for members; executing with rigor and discipline across the cooperative; strengthening financial performance to secure long-term stability; and driving sustainable, long-term growth for owners and communities.
